Test Realm is Now Online

The Test Realm is online.  Kingsisle wants help testing out an update for the Malistaire dungeon.  KI has added some awesome cutscenes right before and right after the battle with Malistaire.

Here are a few pictures of the encounter before the battle.

This is followed by a countdown screen while you wait for everyone else to finish up reading.  The countdown starts at 5 minutes.

So not too much else that I noticed.  Still, this is a pretty cool update.  I think these scenes are better than the old encounter, where everything was in chat bubbles.

Introducing Wizard City Homes and Gardens

I would like to announce a new series called Wizard City Homes and Gardens.  This is going to be a weekly feature about housing items, glitches, and gardening.  I am even going to do some tours of awesome houses from around the Spiral.  If you know anyone with an awesome home, leave a comment below and we can try to meet up for a tour.

This week I would like to show you my house.  I crafted Watch Tower Hall.  It took a long time, and A LOT of gold, but it was worth it!  You can see a tour of my house below.

Please Stop the Drama!

So I don't know about anyone else, but I started playing Wizard101 as a sort of escape from real life.  You know, something enjoyable to do that gives me some time to get away from the pressures and drama that accompanies.... well.... being alive.  There is nothing I dislike more than drama, and from what I have heard from other people, I'm not alone.  So what I am wondering is why there is so much of it on Wizard101.

Here's the thing.....If you don't like someone, then don't talk to them.  There is even this cool feature called the ignore button. USE IT!  I mean in real life, if there was someone you didn't like, would you call them up on the phone?  Probably not.  You probably just wouldn't talk to them.  Consider doing the same thing online.  Don't add people you don't like.  If you already have, remove them or ignore them.  This goes for other sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Now, if someone is harassing you, then you should remove them or ignore them as well.  If it gets too bad, you always have the option to report them.  I just don't see the point wasting energy arguing with people while doing something that is supposed to be enjoyable.  Also, other people don't want to hear you arguing either.  Please remember that!

So what should you do if you are playing and see someone else get bullied?  Well I would hope that everyone would step up and say something.  Not to argue, but to let the person doing the bullying know that they should stop.  Not doing anything in a situation like that is almost as bad as doing the bullying yourself..  And remember, if the situation is bad enough, you can always report the person.

Let's please just try to keep the Wizard101 community a fun place to be for everyone.  I have met so many great friends since I started playing, and I know there are many more great people out there.  So let's work together to stop the craziness!

Cavemen Come to the Spiral

I have decided to make a guide about Prospector Zeke's quests.  The first world I am going to cover is Wintertusk, and then I will do all the worlds in reverse order.  So the question is.....Cavemen?  Well they are really called Troggs, but to me they look like tiny little cavemen.  There are 6 Troggs in Wintertusk, one for each of the main areas.  This is where they are located.  The Troggs are where the red dots are.

Hrundle Fjord - The Hrundle Fjord Trogg is locate behind a tree near the entrance to Sudrilund.

Austrilund - The Austrilund Trogg is located behind a tent near Grond.

Vestrilund - The Vestrilund Trogg is located up the tree ramp near Halfang Bristlecrown.

Sudrilund - The Sudrilund Trogg is located in the third "level" behind some rocks.

Nordrilund - This little guy isn't really hidden.  He is in the last room where Nordri is, standing off to the left.

Nastrond - This Trogg is hiding behind the right side of the "platform" in the last room, near Frost Giant.
