Merciless Jennifer Part 4: Jack's Quest

Ahoy Pirates!

Last time I quested with Merciless Jennifer, I helped the first of Lasko's shipmates, Moe, find peace.  That left two for me to help, which I had a chance to do over the weekend.  I decided to help Jack first, who had betrayed Avery by giving information to the Cutthroats.  The search for information led to Cutthroat Caverns, ship battles, and eventually to Mordekai, who sent us to the sewers, where we fought some rats and began to uncover the real secret: The Cutthroats were not in this alone.

The quest to get to the bottom of the entire plot led to the ancient tunnels.  After fighting the guys there, we had to go to Devilfish Hollow.  Luckily we had a spell from Vadima that let us see through disguises.  This is how we found out this entire scheme was being led by.....A shrimp! Well, technically a prawn, but still....I say shrimp!

The creepy little shrimp guy told me about a plan to send a ship of fire into Skull Island to blow the whole thing up! Yeah, we couldn't let that happen, so my crew and I headed there and blew it up first, before it could reach Skull Island.

After that, it was time to head back to Skull Island to finally attack The Master!  We fought our way in to his temple where we confronted him.  This fight wasn't too much of an issue, because we only had to defeat The Master to get the rest of the enemies to disappear.  So all attacks were focused on the shrimp dude.

He had about 9 health left and then he used some type of attack that ended up killing himself for me.  I'm not complaining, but it was kind of weird.  Anyway, we went back to Jack and let him know that we stopped the plan, so he was able to rest in peace. Two down, one to go!

 Before I go, a note about how the challenge part is going. Things are still pretty easy, even with my 3 companions being such low levels (2, 3 and 5). Kan Po still dies easily, but I will continue using him until he is completely useless, or until I recruit another companion. I think the next one is my Presidio companion. One of the things I have done to help myself is level up myself with side quests and level up my pet quite a bit, so that is helping.  I also found some level 5 gear that gives me some healing spells, so I can help keep Bonnie and Mormo alive.  Between that and Bonnie's heal, I have 3 healing spells available to me, and that has made a big difference!
