Furniture, Hair Styles and Housing! Oh My!

Hey Wizards! :)

Today the Wizard101 test realm opened up. And boy, oh boy is there a lot going on!  I will go over a few of my favorite (and not-so-favorite) things here. For the rest you can see the update notes here.

Some of the biggest news seems to be the new hair styles that can be purchased in the crowns shop for 250-500 crowns.  There are 5 different styles and you can choose the color when purchasing one. The hair style can be equipped instead of a hat, and can also be stitched as well.  I tried out a couple and here I am....

This style is called The Owl
This one is The Kestrel
And my favorite....The Autumn Dreamwalker! :P
There is also three new "packs" that have sets of Azteca furniture.  They sell for 4500 crowns each, but here's the good part. Each of the three packs come with a complete set of furniture. That means you only have to buy them once. No gambling with this pack!  If you would like to see what the furniture looks like, click this link to see an "apartment" a friend of mine made with the furniture.

One other thing I had a chance to check out was the new craftable Avalon house, which is available to Master Artisans. The recipe is 60,000 gold, and doesn't look too hard to complete. Here some pictures, as well as the recipe.
Recipe: 6 Forest Lord treasure cards, 4 Poison treasure cards, 10 Grendelweed, 40 Mist Wood, 1 Vine, 2 Brick-walled Ponds, 2 Cephalopod Obelisks, and 2 Jars of Mushrooms.
This is what you see from the Spiral Door. You can see both houses
A purple waterfall!
The inside of the "spider" house
The inside of the other house
As you can see, the inside of the buildings are pretty small.  However, it is still a pretty awesome house.  And you get to craft it! :)

Now that I have shown you the highlights, I would like to talk about one thing that I hope Kingsisle decides to NOT change.  That is the change they are making to the Reshuffle card. Apparently with the new update, once you use a reshuffle card, it will not me added back into your deck.  Now, I can see why they may do this for PvP, but, in my opinion, they should allow it to be put back in decks during PvE fights.

There are some other updates that I haven't had a chance to check out yet.  So read the update notes and be sure to log into test realm to check them all out!  Thanks for reading and see you next time! :)
