Hey everyone!

It's almost that time! The Halloween Run is this Sunday, October 28th, 2018! Every time we have an event, we make a guide video that shows where we will be going and what we will be doing throughout the run. It helps a lot to watch this video before the event.  You can view it below.

We are having a contest for everyone who watches the video.  All you have to do is watch the video and write down the entire path we follow during it.  That's it! One random winner will receive an Accursed Play Gauntlet bundle, Great Detective bundle, and 10,000 crowns! Here's how to enter:

Secrets of the Spiral Relaunch Contest

Hey everyone!

As you may have noticed, this site has a whole new look!  I have been working hard on updating the graphics and color scheme.  Along with this, I have removed some of the old content and am going to be focusing on adding newer sections to the blog for Animal Cove, new guides, and more surprises!

To celebrate all these changes, I am going to have a small contest for my readers.  Keep reading to find out how to enter.

Pirate101 Scavenger Hunt Contest/Event

Hey everyone!

A couple weeks back, Kingsisle gave me some crowns to give away to all you guys! I gave some away via trivia on my twitter account and now that I have my computer back, I am ready to give away the rest!

I have decided to combine this contest with an event and have a scavenger hunt.  What will you be finding during this scavenger hunt?  Well........There will be 5 of me (Autumn Walker) hidden throughout Skull Island and you will have to find all five!  Here's how it will work:

At 5:00pm EST on Sunday, May 22nd, I will be posting 5 screenshots, similar to the one above.  Your job is to figure out where each Autumn is and find her! Here's the twist though; each Autumn will be in a different realm related to where she is hiding.  Tricky, right?

Anyway, to enter the contest, here is what you need to do:

1. Have access to the whole world of Skull Island, either via membership or crowns.
2. Find all 5 locations and realms.  You can find them in any order you want.  Once you find an Autumn, take a screenshot with her.  Please be sure your pirate name and mine are both visible in the screenshots!
3. Email all five of your screenshots to secretsofthespiral@hotmail.com with the subject Scavenger Hunt.
4. Please include your pirate's name in the email. Please DO NOT include any personal information.

Pirate101 2015 Halloween Contest

Ahoy!

Guess what!!!!! To celebrate Halloween and Pirate101's 3rd birthday, the awesome community managers gave me a bunch of codes to give you guys!  Thank you Tom and Leala!

If most of your pets are anything like mine, they get kind of bored just hanging out in my house waiting for me to bring them into battle.  So I thought why not throw them a Halloween party?  What type of decorations do you think would be good for this?  It's up to you to decide!  Give it a try and you could win some great prizes!

Contest Rules

If you want to enter, here's what you have to do:

1.  Decorate your bunkhouse as a Halloween hideout for your pet.  Would your pet hang out in a haunted house? A haunted forest?  A pumpkin patch? A haunted maze?  Be as creative as possible. 

2.  Your design must include at least 3 Halloween items from the Crown Shop (these can be purchased with gold) and one pet.  The Halloween items can be 3 of the same thing or all different. It's up to you!

3.  Once you complete your bunkhouse design, take up to 3 screenshots.  The Halloween items and your pet must be visible.

4.   Email your pictures with your pirate's name and a short paragraph describing your design to secretsofthespiral@hotmail.com.  Please put "Halloween Contest" in the subject line.

5.  This contest will end in 2 weeks, on October 22, 2015 at 12pm EST (noon).

A Spooktacular Pirate101 Birthday Contest

As ye may already know, today is Pirate101's first birthday! Happy Birthday Pirate101! :)  To celebrate this awesome day, as well as Halloween, One Eyed Jack and the Pirate101 team have given me some spooky codes to give away.  That means it's contest time!

Below you will see 2 very similar pictures.  Upon first glance, they may look exactly the same.  However, they aren't.  I went through and made changes to the second one. There's a catch though: I'm not going to tell you how many changes I made.  It's up to you to find as many as you can!

12 Days of Autumn Puzzle Hunt

Ahoy!

Day #9 of the 12 Days of Autumn brings another contest!  Today I have hidden 12 pieces of a puzzle around the blog.  All you have to do is find them all and assemble the puzzle.  Then you will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Li'l Labor Golem pets!

• Find all 12 pieces of the puzzle. They could be hidden anywhere on the site. However, none will be hidden on posts before the beginning of 2013.
• Assemble the puzzle. You can use either a graphics program or print the pieces, cut them out and send a picture of the completed puzzle.
• Email the assembled puzzle to secretsofthespiral@hotmail.com. Please include your pirate's name. Also put Puzzle Contest in the subject.
• All entries must be received by 9am EST on October 1st (tomorrow).

Everyone who completes the puzzle and follows all the guidelines will be entered into a raffle tomorrow to win one of 3 Li'l Labor Golem pets.  Good luck and have fun!

Skull Island Scavenger Hunt

Ahoy!

Today is day #8 of the 12 Days of Autumn celebration. It is also the day of the celebration I have been looking forward to the most.....The Skull Island Scavenger Hunt!

All around the world of Skull Island, there will be 8 pirates hidden in specific locations. When you find a pirate, they will give you a clue to the next location.  The first clue, which will lead to the first location in the scavenger hunt, will be announced at the bottom of this page at 6:00pm Eastern (the start of the scavenger hunt).

The first 3 people who reach the last location, and say the key words, will be awarded prizes as follows: 1st prize - Mount of choice & 3 Tribal Crew Packs, 2nd prize - Pet of choice & 3 Tribal Crew Packs, 3rd prize - 3 Tribal Crew Packs.

Here are the rules for this contest. Please read them all before participating.

• The event will begin at 6:00pm Eastern on September 29th
• The first seven locations will be in One Eyed Jack, area 1. The 8th will be in a mystery realm (see hints below).
• At each location, you will be given a clue that will tell you who to look for next, where they are hiding, and what to say when you get there.
• When you find one of the locations, you will not be given the next clue until you tell that person the key word or phrase given at the previous location.
• Please do not ask the people helping with this event for more hints. I am the only one who knows all the people helping out and all the locations.
• Please be patient. The people along the route will be busy giving out clues. Give them a few minutes to respond!
• Please be respectful to other people and have fun!

Here are a few hints to help you out:

• The last clue will give you a hint to a location and a realm. You will have to switch to the correct realm to complete the scavenger hunt.
• You will need access to all four skyways in Skull Island (Skull Island, Flotsam, Tradewinds, & Port Regal)
• All clues will be in text chat. I have already logged on and adjusted so that all words will be readable to text chat players.
• Sometimes the phrase you have to repeat is the clue to the next location.
• Hint 5 refers to a cannon somewhere in Port Regal Skyway
