A Note About Contests and Giveaways

I have had a couple people ask me if the upcoming contest will be for everyone or just for my followers.  The answer is this:  Everyone who would like to enter this contest will be able to.

I think the confusion has come from the giveaways I have for my followers.  Occasionally I have giveaways on here, where I will select a prize and one follower will be randomly chosen to win.  These giveaways usually don't require anything more than for you to comment on a post, so that I know you would like to be entered in the drawing.  I have these as a thank you to my followers.

Contests are a little bit different.  First, all my contests are open to everyone.  Plus, there is usually more to it than a random drawing.  You have to do something to enter (decorate a dorm, describe a new aspect of the game, etc).  I then choose which entry I think is the best to be the winner.  Sometimes for contests there are also multiple prizes as well.  I have contests because they are fun.  I see a lot of great ideas from the entries I have received!

I hope this clears up some of the confusion.  Giveaways=followers and contests=everyone.  And if you are still confused, I will always specify who is allowed to enter in the rules for the current contest/giveaway.  Anyway, only one more follower till my 100 follower contest!  I am getting very excited!  Make sure to watch for the post!  And as always, have fun and stay safe! Autumn Myth is Level 80!

After days of way too much leveling, Autumn Myth finally reached level 80!  She made it as far as Lake Shore when she reached Archmage.  I think I am going to take a break from questing on her for now. Next up is a new fire wizard. :)

One a side note, I started training my basilisk pet.  The first two talents were both derby talents.  I am very disappointed in the level 78 pets.  I think my level 48 pets are better, and my level 58 pets are definitely better. I really hope Kingsisle makes the next school  pets better!

Spread the Word!

Hey Everyone!

I have decided that to celebrate my blogging come back, I am going to have a contest.  There's a catch though.  I would like to get the word out that my blog is back, so I will be having the contest when I reach 100 followers. Only 9 more followers to 100!

As far as the prizes go, well I haven't quite decided yet.  But I will make sure they are great!  I am seeing gift cards, and possibly mounts or pets as prizes.

Lots of Stuff

Hey Wizards!

So I announced that I was back, and then I didn't post again for weeks.  I am sorry.  I had a case of writer's block.  That, and there has been so much going on in the spiral that I was kind of overwhelmed.  Kingsisle announced a new game (Pirate101) that is going to be launched sometime this year, there is a new world (Avalon), along with new spells, pets, items to be crafted.....SO MANY NEW THINGS!!  And on top of that, I have been leveling my myth.  So there was plenty to blog about, the problem was that I didn't know where to start.

And...........That ends now.  I am definitely back now and am going to make it a priority to update at least a couple times a week......starting today!  YAY!  So as I mentioned, I have been leveling my Autumn Myth.  I think the last time I posted, she was level 30-something.  Well, today she reached level 77 and got her Basilisk pet!  See?

I have also leveled both Autumn Dreamwalker (balance) and Autumn Lifesong (life) to level 80.  They got all their new spells and pets.

I have to say......I am a little disappointed that these new higher level pets aren't much better than the level 48 pets.  But some pretty cool hybrids can be hatched from them.  I may make a post about that later in the week, so make sure you watch for it!

And speaking of pets, I have been very busy pet training.  I have 25 epic pets and about 6 more that are adult or ancient.  I am loving deadly helephant ears and evil magma peas for mega snacks.  I have also experimented with prickly bear cacti, red grapes of wrath, and white tiger lilies, which are great if you can find some!

Anyway, I think I have some great ideas for new posts.  I am also going to be trying to update/redesign the site.  Also, once Autumn Myth is all leveled up, I am thinking of making a new fire wizard, so I may blog about her adventures through the entire spiral!  Anyway, this is a very random, little bit of everything, update type of post.  I promise to be back soon with more news and better posts!
