Update on my February Goals

At the beginning of February I posted a list of goals for my blog and my wizards.  And guess what!  I have completed all of them, except for one.  I still have to finish making the last three guides for Prospector Zeke's quests, but I should have them done and posted before the end of next week.

I think the hardest goal to complete was going through The Tower of the Helephant on my ice and life wizards.  I would like to thank Scot Soulhammer for going through with me.  I was originally going to make a whole post about the tower, but none of the screen shots I took got saved for some reason, so here is one I took after of my wizards displaying their new badges.

One change I did make to my list is that instead of continuing through Mooshu right now, I am going to level Autumn Myth up in Wintertusk.  I did this on my life wizard and it made questing through the other worlds much easier.  I am also going to be doing some Waterworks runs to try and get my level 60 gear.  I still need my ice boots and my life hat and robe from there.

A couple other things I have been up to, that weren't on my list of goals.  I have been working to level some of my pets.  I have gotten 5 of them to epic and 3 to ancient.  I am out of mega snacks and still trying to level them with rank 5 and 6 snacks, as well as gardening to get more mega snacks.  It is taking forever now, but I will get them to epic eventually.  One thing I wish Kingsisle would do is make separate gardening and pet energy.

The other thing I have been doing is I started questing through Zafaria on my ice wizard with Edward Wintergem.  So far we have only gotten to the Savannah, but hopefully we will be able to quest more in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to watch for some posts on those adventures.

Wizard City Homes and Gardens: The North Pole

This week I would like to show you guys my ice house.  This is the first "theme" house I have made, meaning I didn't just decorate it, I actually made it into something.  And I figured a great theme for an ice house would be The North Pole.

I got the idea for this when Kingsisle released the Christmas decorations back in December, and I have been working on it on and off ever since.  I finally finished it last week.

The first thing I had to do was decide which rooms I wanted, and where in the house they would be.  I think that is the part that was the easiest.  The ice house has 7 rooms, the bottom where you enter, 4 rooms off to the left and 2 rooms off to the right.  I eventually decided to make one side into the area where Santa and Mrs. Claus live and the other side is the mail room and workshop.

After I decided on the rooms it took me awhile to get it decorated the way I wanted it.  It still isn't completely done.  I want to replace some of the items with other things.  But I am going to have to do some farming, either in the bazaar or farming bosses.

Anyway, enough rambling.  Here are some pictures. You can click on them to see larger versions.

Straight through the livingroom is Santa's office.  Here he is busy reading
letters from children.

At the top of the house is an ice bridge.  If you go across it you come to
the mailroom.  You can see the Naughty and Nice list on the lectern.

And the last room is the workshop.  This is where Buddy the Elf works.
It is also my favorite room.

New Poll!

So finally, after about 2 months of Christmas at Secrets of the Spiral, I chose a new theme for my blog.  I decided to go with ice, since it is winter. Thank you to Scot Soulhammer for sending the picture I used for my header.  However, I'm not sure if I should keep this theme once spring hits.

Which brings us to the point of this post and the new poll you may have noticed over to the right.  I have decided to leave it up to my awesome readers to decide what my next blog design should be based off of.  As you can see, there is only four options.  The reason for this is because I would like to keep my theme within the schools I currently have wizards for.

Tag! You're It!

Kingsisle announced this afternoon that the test realm is online.  The big news is a new interactive game that can be played in your house....Tag!  The Tag Game can be purchsed for 2000 crowns and it is SOOOO much fun!

I only had a few minutes to log on, but I ported and played for a little with Edward Lifegem, Diana Wildheart, Paige Moonshade and a few other people.

In the regular version of the game, the person who is "It" turns into a gobbler and when they go close to another player, that person becomes "It".  There is also another version called Wildfire Tag where the person who is "It" tags people and they become fire elves.  In this version, the last person left is the winner.  This will be an awesome addition to all those in-game parties.  I can't wait until this update is released on the live realm!
